Stock Temp Performance
At stock speeds I was really impressed with the performance of this cooler especially since it’s priced well below most other 240 AIOs. Temps were great idling in the low to mid 30s in a room that was 22c.
Under stress the temps were still great maxing out at 63c during an overnight run in AIDA64 and the CPU maintained a 4.2GHZ clock the entire time. Gaming temps were even better rarely going over 50c during CPU intensive game play running around Novigrad in The Witcher 3 and staying even lower in non CPU stressing areas.
Overall I was extremely pleased with the performance at stock speeds with this AIO, you should never run into cooling issues while using this cooler.
I rate the stock temp performance on a Intel 7600k 5/5 I had no issues what so ever.
Overclocking Performance
In order to not run the risk of frying a borrowed CPU and motherboard I played it safe and only used ASROCK’S EZ overclock in the bios which boosted the top clock speed by around 200mhz maxing out at 4.4GHZ.
While I certainly didn’t push the CPU as far as I could have due to not wanting to break anything the 200Mhz OC that the EZ overclocking did still gave us some added heat to help push the ML240.
I was extremely pleased with the overclocking performance for this AIO too, idling only a few degrees over stock.
During my overnight AIDA64 stress test temps were pretty impressive too, maxing out in the low 70s there’s still plenty of headroom to push this CPU further maybe even to 5GHZ!
Gaming temps were also impressive never going above 55c at any time while gaming even during CPU intensive sections and the CPU cooled off quickly when going to non CPU intensive sections so you should never have any trouble with overheating on this CPU with this AIO.
Overall I’m extremely impressed with how well this cooler handled the overclock, while 200mhz isn’t much there’s still plenty of headroom for a higher clockspeed and at a lower than average price at $69.99.
Now lets move on to the final thoughts and conclusion!

Great price! The specs and test results aren’t bad, either. I have a spare PC, slightly OC’d with a I7 6700K cooled with a Noctua NH-15 that I use for CAD stuff. With a few more positive reviews, I might just pull the trigger and buy one of these and OC a little more. Fun project, anyway, without breaking the bank and/or catching my wife’s attention.
