A Closer Look
The heatsink has a nice raised area. The finish is semi glossy. The finish is not quite mirror finish but by no means is ruff and scuffed. The base appears to made of entirely copper, which is the best thermal transfer you can get. The hoses are the mad of FEP tubing. While the ribbed shiny choice may not be at the top of everyone’s list. This solution does offer superior kink protection.

The radiator is made of aluminum not copper, so a little may be lost during heat exchange. On the plus side Cooler Master has opted to use a square fin design rather than the more common V shaped. I have personally witnessed the benefits of the square over the V. The radiator is typical in size weighing in at 275 x 118.5 x 27 mm. The fans are also something worth mentioning. The MasterFan Pro Air Balance fans are specifically designed to compliment the square radiator while keeping the noise down.
