Conclusion
While the ML240R may not be the price to the performance king I feel like anyone who is looking at a full RGB liquid cooler knows that already.
I also feel like the ML240R provides enough extras with the lighting and customization options to justify the price tag, plus it is one of the best performing 240mm AIOs I’ve tested and has enough cooling power to support overclocking and high TDP chips.
Overall if you’re on a tight budget or price to performance is your only priority this isn’t the cooler for you (I recommend the ML240L for that) But if you don’t mind spending a little extra for flashy customizable lights and a few bells and whistles not found on lower priced AIOs you won’t be disappointed in how amazing the ML240R looks or performs.
I give the ML240R an overall rating of 4.5/5. For being an all around an amazing looking, feeling and performing cooler but it is slightly held back due to the confusing lighting installation process and loose RGB connections requiring a home-made fix. Even with that I highly recommend this cooler to anyone looking to upgrade both their PC cooling and lighting.
