Corsair H150i PRO RGB AIO Cooler TR4 Installation Guide and Review

In our last PC build of the year in 2018 – The Project Beast Ripper, we used a Noctua NH-U12S TR4 air cooler modified with 2 x LL120 RGB fans. It was easy to install and provided adequate cooling, but it did looked kind of meh!

Now thanks to Corsair, we will be mounting the H150i PRO RGB AIO Cooler fitted with a TR4 mounting bracket for our Threadripper 1950X processor. I can’t wait … let’s get into it!

When it comes to AIO liquid cooling, there aren’t many manufacturers that can support AMD’s TR4 socket (Threadripper processors). Even if there are … you have to buy a completely standalone AIO cooler just for your TR4, and that’s something I don’t like. The great thing about Corsair’s AIO line up, is that you can mount their TR4 bracket (sold separately) to any of their Hydro Series. This is perfect for users who want to switch or upgrade from existing Intel’s LGA115x or AMD’s AM4, without having to buy a completely new AIO cooler again.
