Conclusion and Verdict
All-in-all, I’m quite happy with the Corsair iCUE LINK LX120 RGB cooling fans. As far as performance is concerned, these fans can spin at a maximum speed of up to 2,400 rpm, offering an impressive airflow of 69.9 CFM, and a noise level of only 36 decibels, with a static pressure of 0.13 – 5.33 mm-H20.
This is all thanks to CORSAIR’s AirGuide technology, which focuses the exhaust airflow cone, plus each fan feature a magnetic dome bearing that minimizes friction and reduces mechanical noise, providing quiet operation and greater longevity.
Each fans has 18 RGB LEDs, which is spread across dual light loops. There’s even an exclusive “Time Warp” lighting mode, which gives you an impressive optical illusion thanks to the power of iCUE LINK.
To really take full advantage of the coolig fans, users must use the iCUE LINK software from Corsair. With it, you’ll be able to monitor, customize, and confgure the fans how you want it. You can also fine-tune your fan speeds, or use pre-set fan curves and assign the RGB colours to your liking.
Installation was pretty easy thanks Corsair’s “QuikTurn” screws. You can simply install these fans with a single spin of the screw driver! However, it doesn’t come with any screws for mounting on to radiators. So you’re going to have to find your own radiator screws.
These fans don’t come with any 3-pin ARGB or a 4-pin PWM fan cables. So you can’t plug them directly on to the motherboard. It’s designed only to be used with Corsair’s iCUE LINK Hub and Software. It’s something that users might not like if you’re not already on the iCUE LINK eco-system.
So if you are gointg to get these fans, I recommend you get the starter pack (3 fan pack), which comes with everything you need including the iCUE LINK Hub and cables.

Not only do they look great with dual light loops and their exclusive “Time Warp” lighting mode, but they also offer decent cooling performance and easy installation.
