Conclusion and Verdict
If you’ve already invested in the Corsair iCUE eco-system, and you need extra cooling fans (for the chassis or radiator), then iCUE LINK RX120 RGB fans could be right for you.
The fans feature a magnetic dome bearing that reduces friction and mechanical noise, which is great as it will provide better longevity. As far as performance is concerned, these fans can spin at a maximum speed of up to 2,100 rpm, offering an impressive airflow of 73.5 CFM, and a noise level of only 36 decibels, with a static pressure of 0.12 – 4.33 mm-H20.
This is all thanks to CORSAIR’s AirGuide technology, which focuses the exhaust airflow cone, plus the fan blades have an airfoil shape that offers an optimized angle for the airflow.
Installaton was nice and easy. The unique “QuikTurn” screws from Corsair is pretty innovative. You can literally install these fans with a single spin of the screw driver!
RGB lighting is centered around the fan blades, and this also passes through the detachable decorative side plate. To really take full advantage of the coolig fans, users must use the iCUE LINK software from Corsair. With it, you’ll be able to monitor, customize, and confgure the fans how you want it. You can also fine-tune your fan speeds, or use pre-set fan curves and assign the RGB colours to your liking.
Using iCUE LINK software, I was able to lower the fan speed to 300-400 rpm and have the RGB lighting sync’ed with my Corsair Dominator Titanium ram. There’s even a “Music Sync” modde which I found pretty interesting.
If you do buy these fans, you won’t be able to plug them directly on to your motherboard. There isn’t a 3-pin ARGB or a 4-pin PWM fan cable. In other words, you MUST use the iCUE LINK Hub and software. It’s something that might not suit everyone. So I recommend you get the starter pack (3 fan pack), which comes with everything you need including the iCUE LINK Hub and cables.
You can buy the Corsair iCUE LINK RX120 RGB Cooling Fans (3 fan pack) for around USD $99.99 from Amazon – https://amzn.to/3TRIYFi

The Corsair iCUE LINK RX120 RGB cooling fans are ideal for any user who wants decent airflow, low noise and vivid RGB lighting. You can easily mount them on to any PC case or radiators with Corsair’s “QuikTurn” screws. The starter pack (3 fan pack) comes with everything you need. Just load up the iCUE software and unleash the full potential of these fans.
