The Box and Packaging
There isn’t much inside the box. You get the 3 x RS120 Max fans and 3 sets of mounting screws, including CORSAIR’s QuikTurn screws.
The Fans
The RS120 Max fans are constructed from glass fiber-reinforced liquid crystal polymer, giving it better rigidity and prevents the fan blades from bending. This ensures optimal radiator flow no matter the fan speed.
With a thickness of 30mm, the RS MAX fans are 20% thicker than youur standard PC cooling fan, which produces stronger airflow and more static pressure generated by the larger fan blade. This translates directly into better cooling performance for your PC.
The fans also come with Corsair’s Airguide with Anti-vortex stator vanes. This allow focused airflow into a tight cone for more effective cooling. It produces a static pressure of 0.12 – 4.2 mm-H20 with a maximum speed of 2,000 rpm. It offers a maximum airflow of around 72CFM with low noise level of only 29.5 dBA.
Using Corsair’s magnetic dome bearing, it reduces friction and mechanical noise, giving it greater longevity.
