Box and Packaging
The package with all the necessary brackets, retention mounts and screws for mounting on to various CPUs. In our tests, we’ll mounting this cooler to a AMD Ryzen 7 3700X (at default clock rate).
A Closer Look
The waterblock looks great. It’s one of only a few AIO CPU coolers that come in an all white design. I also like the super thick sleeved tubing, which makes the whole unit look sleek and stylish. For RGB lighting effects, just make sure you plug in the ARGB 3-pin cable to the motherboard’s ARGB 5V header.
There is now RGB software included with the package nor can you download it. Why? … Well, you don’t need it. Just use the motherboard’s own ARGB software, because this whole unit is compatible with all the major motherboard RGB eco-systems including … ASUS Aura Sync, GIGABYTE RGB Fusion 2.0, MSI Mystic Light Sync, ASROCK-Polychrome Sync, TT RGB Plus, RAZER CHROMA software.
If your motherboard does not have the ARGB header, fear not … Enermax has included their RGB Control Box, which allows users to adjust preferred lighting effects (10 pre-set effects), brightness and speed.
The included SquA RGB 120mm fan looks kind of odd … but that’s just personal tastes. What matters most is the performance and audio levels. Again, don’t forget to plug in the ARGB cable for lighting effects.
Installation
No issues with installation. If you look at the photo below, I’ve managed to install the AIO cooler on to a mini-ITX motherboard with no trouble at all.
You may find the thick sleeved tubing of the cooler a little tricky position. I would measure up first. You could either assign it to the left or right side of the water block, depending on the clearance of your motherboard.
