Conclusion and Verdict
Let’s finish this review off with the obvious. This is the best cooler I have tested to date on my 11900K. I enjoy testing everything on this chip because it is notorious hot and it’s going to be very comparable the temps you would see from other high-powered processors. If it keeps this chip cool, then it will keep all of the rest of them from throttling as well. Not only did this cooler keep the processor under control, but the hidden fan also helped keep the surrounding components cooler. Not having any air isn’t going to necessarily hurt your motherboard but having any type of airflow going across those components will probably increase the longevity of those components. Anything electronic that runs cooler, is going to last longer. I feel we are slowly reaching the point where we are going to have to see some sort of new technology for water cooling. Like when we saw water cooling transition to turbulent flow, that dramatically increased the performance compared to the early days of water blocks. With that being said I like to see a water block incorporate external cooling on top of its normal function. This is a very beneficial component on top of cooling the proc. It will be interesting to see if a new technology is on the horizon but for now, we get awesome product like this that offer plenty of cooling for the current generation of chips. But like we have been seeing every generation seems to run hotter and hotter. Another reason the external fan is a plus.
What’s the point of a RGB AIO without a fancy water block. seems like the perfect place to show off your style. I want my system to show my personal style and what is more customizable than an LCD screen. You can upload jpgs, gifs, or even display system information. I have had a couple of coolers in the past that could be personalized like this and it such a cool feature. You can truly take your rig to the next level and put your personal spin on the design with a couple click in the software.
The screen was honestly good enough to watch videos on. The color depth was good, and the motion was crisp and smooth. The overall size of the water block (with the cover on) was on the larger size but wasn’t difficult to install. The cover is the key as it directs the air flow down and towards the VRMs and RAM sockets. This cooler is top tier in performance and aesthetics. Lastly, the fans are very good fans with great specs. They are solid and have a nice hefty weight to them. The frame is very rigid and feel quite durable.
