We had to wait a few years for a new version of a very popular NH-D15 cooler. New Noctua products do not appear often, but when they do, there’re usually something special. We believe the same will happen with the new NH-D15, simply called G2. In addition, Noctua released three cooler versions with different base shapes for different needs. We will focus on the LBC version, which is designed for large and flat IHS. It’s a version dedicated mainly to modern AMD and workstation series CPUs. Since the premiere of the Ryzen 9000 series has been delayed, our tests will be performed on the Ryzen 9 7950X.
Let’s begin with the specifications and features of the new Noctua coolers.
