Noctua NH-D15S chromax.black is a refreshed version of the already successful cooler, so it simply has to be a good product. We are impressed by the cooler’s quality and performance. Like not many air coolers, we can easily recommend it to all who expect the best performance but don’t want to buy AIO water cooling. If we compare the performance to available water cooling kits, then even though the NH-D15S seems expensive, it’s still cheaper than any popular AIO. Noctua is also offering a six-year warranty while there is no water cooling manufacturer, which is guaranteeing problem-free work of the water pump for more than two years.
I’m sure that all the gamers and enthusiasts who loved the NH-D15 or NH-D15S will think about the chromax.black version. It adds a special touch to the already great coolers. Because of the asymmetric design, I started to be a fan of the NH-D15S version as it fits without problems, even the smallest motherboards, and causes no issues with additional components.
The Noctua NH-D15S chromax.black CPU Cooler is supposed to cost not much more than the standard version, so around for around $79 in the Amazon store. Right now, I can’t see it listed probably because it’s a quite new product. The NH-D15 chromax.black cooler costs $99. The performance of both coolers will not be much different. However, the NH-D15 chromax.black comes with two fans, while the NH-D15S chromax.black with one. This is where you can find the price difference. Additional NF-A15 chromax.black. swap fan costs around $25. Even though it seems expensive then as I mentioned, you won’t find a similar performance cheaper, so I find it a reasonable price.

I’m fully satisfied with what this product can offer, and although it’s not cheap, it’s totally worth it in my opinion. Especially with a wide range of compatible sockets, great support, and a 6-year warranty, we can consider this as a really good investment.
