I’m used to seeing successful Scythe products, so it doesn’t surprise me that the Big Shuriken 3 is a well-performing cooler. What surprised me is that on a highly demanding Ryzen 3700X processor it was performing so good. Size limitation is also causing that so small cooler with a high wattage CPU can’t be silent. This is the case with the Big Shuriken 3. Even though it’s quiet, under load, we can clearly hear it. As long as we pick a CPU that in reality has under 120W, then all should be fine, and we can enjoy the silence.
I’m sure that all who keep in mind that a small PC can’t really handle high wattage CPU will be satisfied with the Big Shuriken 3 as it’s one of the best options on the market in this size.
