The Grandis has more robust specifications than the previously reviewed Fortis 3 EVO ARGB. The cooler is designed to work with processors up to 250W TDP, so at least in theory, it’s good enough for every desktop processor on the market. However, looking at the top models from both AMD and Intel, we already know it’s not so obvious.
The Grandis 3 EVO ARGB is compatible with all modern CPU sockets, excluding TR4, which requires a larger base and cooler performance. For these processors, we recommend the SilentiumPC Navis series coolers.
The ARGB should work with the most popular motherboards. In case if there is any problem, then we can always use the included Nano-reset ARGB controller. It’s probably my favorite ARGB/RGB controller, as it’s small and works exactly as it should.
Below are some additional pictures with cooler dimensions.
On the next page, we will take a closer look at the cooler.
