Performance
The Navis ARGB 360 cooler’s performance has been tested on the latest Intel setup, which includes the i9-10900K processor, SuperO Z490 motherboard, HyperX Fury 2x32GB DDR4-3200 memory kit, and GTX1660Ti graphics card. All tests were performed in Windows 10 Pro x64 OS with the latest updates.
The CPU was running at default settings, what on the used motherboard meets Intel specifications regarding voltages and turbo clock modes. The ambient temperature was about 22-23°C.
Our comparison includes three tests. The idle mode is a PC left without any load besides standard Windows services running in the background. The mixed-mode bases on a PCMark 10 extended test that uses popular applications and simple games. The max load is a CPU+FPU AIDA64 stability test. It shows about maximum CPU load during the most demanding work on all CPU cores.
The i9-10900K is a problematic CPU because its small die heats up a lot, so it is harder to keep cool than AMD processors. It also doesn’t really overclock, but we were still able to set it at 5.1GHz with AVX instructions, proving that the Navis 360 cooler is optimal for the i9-10900K. Not many coolers that we tested could do that, and most could barely keep the i9-10900K at its default settings.
SilentiumPC Navis EVO 360 ARGB is for sure a good cooler, which is a great option for all those users who expect the best performance but at a reasonable price. I mentioned the price as it’s significantly cheaper than competitive coolers, while its performance is usually about the same.
