In todays world of PC building, we all want to be the first person to know about and get our hands on the newest and coolest hardware. It gives us a feeling of gratification to show off something nobody else has. I know that is the way with my cousin, Chris who also writes for Funky Kit, and I. We are both always competing to have the best PC. He was the person who first introduced me to computers. Therefore, he is usually a step ahead of me. I remember a few years ago when he was the first to get his hands on a water cooler. Of course, he had to show it off to me! I was pretty much in awe at the time.
Liquid coolers have been around for home computers since the early 90s, yet the coolers did not start to gain speed until the mid 2000s. now they have become a major trend. Every computer enthusiast wants one! Today there are many companies providing users the capabilities to own one. One of which is a company called Silverstone. I am reviewing a liquid cooler from Silverstone called the TD02-Lite.
The TD02 is an all in one water cooler, which means that this cooler come prefilled and requires no maintenance. This cooler also has a 100 % copper plate, thick leak-proof tubing, and a water block with 0.2mm micro-channels. I am very interested in seeing how this water cooler performs compared to my air cooler, the LV2 from DeepCool.
