Conclusion and Verdict
In Conclusion, the TD02-Lite offers a fairly decent cooling performance. Especially for a liquid cooler in the price range of the TD02. Clearances can become a major issue with any coolers, however with the radiator only being 27mm thick, the TD02 should fit in most gaming mid-towers. Remember, that measurement is only for the radiator and not with the dual fans included with the TD02. This liquid cooler seemed to have a great build quality, while also looking great inside the Challenger.
SilverStone sends all the necessary components to install the cooler. The instruction manual was very detailed for both the AMD and Intel sockets. All that allows, the TD02-Lite to be installed with ease. Only complaint I had are with the dual fans being nosier then most other coolers I have been around.
The TD02-Lite has a MRSP of around 85 USD and can be found on various e-tailers. That is a great price if you are looking to upgrade your system to a liquid cooler. This cooler’s performance was exceptional in my opinion, especially if you consider the price of the TD02.
Pros:
- Competitive Price
- Braided Rubber Tubing
- Zero Maintenance
- LED Light
Cons:
- Nosier dB levels
Final Thoughts:
The price of the TD02-Lite is what sets this all in one liquid cooler apart from the competition. This cooler looks great installed with the color mostly being black, while also having decent cooling capabilities. I would recommend the TD02 to anyone looking to upgrade their system to a liquid cooler. Especially if you might be on a bit of a budget!
