Today, we will be taking a look at the Thermaltake Floe RC Ultra 240 CPU & Memory AIO Liquid Cooler. The Floe RC Ultra 240 is designed with two large customizable LCD displays covering the CPU and memory water blocks. It comes with 2 x pair of TOUGHFAN 12 Turbo fans for the radiators. They’re powerful, high static pressure fans, with a max speed of 2500 RPM giving you maximum heat dissipation.
It’s compatible for both their existing DDR4 and future DDR5 TOUGHRAM RC memory modules. The downloadable TT RGB Plus 2.0 software allows users to control the performance monitoring and personalized visual effects. You can monitor the frequency and real-time temperature directly from large LCD displays, and you can also upload any images or GIFs to give you that extra flair.
As far as I know, Thermaltake are the only manufacturer that produces AIO coolers that cools both CPU and memory in one loop. They first launched the original Floe RC series AIO cooler back in 2020, which at that time was something quite unique. Thermaltake have now taken this up a notch with their new Floe RC Ultra. It now comes with dual customizable LCD displays … one on the CPU waterblock and and the other on the memory waterblock.

We’ll be testing the Thermaltake Floe RC Ultra 240 CPU & Memory AIO Liquid Cooler with an Intel Core i9-12900KF (Alder Lake processors are known to run hot), along with Thermaltake’s new TOUGHRAM RC DDR5-4800 which is compatible with this AIO cooler. I’m expecting some decent cooling performance, especially when you have 2 x TOUGHFAN 12 Turbo mounted on the radiator, so let’s find out.
OK, not let’s get down to business and start by looking at the specifications on the next page. You can buy the Thermaltake TOUGHLIQUID 240 (non-RC version) for USD $199 from Amazon – https://amzn.to/3D8lZNC
