Conclusion and Verdict
At first I wasn’t warming up to the fact that this AIO was able to cool both CPU and memory. I like the idea, but I didn’t like the size or hassle. But as it turns out, it wasn’t all that bad after all. The installation was fairly simple, all except for the memory waterblock which required some contortionist maneuvers on the tubing. I tried installing the AIO on several motherboards, and I was surprised to find that it fitted flawlessly with no issues at all.
Now here comes the star of the show … the LCD display panels on both the CPU and the memory waterblocks. They look gorgeous and stunning, especially when you have your own GIFs or photos that you want to upload to it. This can be achieved usinfg the TT RGB Plus 2.0 software. Alternatively, you can just use the default options available to monitor CPU and memory frequnecy, temperatures, memory speed, as well as CPU/Memory load.
Cooling performance was very impressive too. Using an Intel Core i9-12900KF (which is an Alder Lake processor and they’ve been known to run hot), I was able to get a load temperature of only 86 degrees Celsius. All my other AIO coolers that I’ve tested in the past have hit 100 degrees or higher. So well done Thermaltake!
