Thermaltake Pure 12 ARGB Sync Fans Review (3-pack in white)

Conclusion and Verdict

I would recommend using the ARGB header on your motherboard and daisy chaining the fans together. That is just because you are limited to the color selection with the controller. Plus it just adds one more cable to have to deal with. Plus I can almost bet your motherboard software has a lot more options to choose from. Now for the RGB. The lights are located around the hub. This provides plenty of RGB to the edge of the fans thanks to the diffused blade design. The fan blades have a nice glowing appearance thanks to this design. There are 9 LEDs and 9 fan blades so this offers plenty of coverage.

Now for the performance aspect. The TT-1225 fan is something you will find on other Thermaltake models. This is because the fan is a proven performer. This goes to show you that when you have a something good don’t go changing it too much. These fans have plenty of air flow to even find themselves on a rad setup. 56 CFM~, 1.59mm-H2O is right where you want to be for a strong push through a dense radiator.  I personally like to see 60-70 CFM for my fans. So these fans hit the right marks. I will take those results all day long.

The quietness of these fans are worth mentioning. I struggled getting a decibel reading. That’s because they barely exceed 25 decibels. That is lower than the ambient sound from my surroundings. So rest assured these fans are not going to be any source of annoying sound. Although we use decibel reading to measure the fans audible presence. It is worth noting that the fans have no noticeable air sound either. What does that mean? I mean it doesn’t sound like a drone taking off! I have seen loud air sounding fans produce little on the decibel meter but have an annoying air flow sound. These do not!
