Thermaltake SWAFAN 12 RGB Fan Review (3 Pack)

Installation

We mounted the Thermaltake SWFAN 12 RGB on to the ToughLiquid Ultra 360 AIO’s radiator. Everything went as planned with no issues at all.

RGB in Full Effect

The Thermaltake SWFAN 12 RGB fans looks absolutely gorgeous. As you can see, I’ve just mounted them on the 360mm radiator and they work fine. The only thing is .. how do I tidy those long fan cables 😀

Traditionally, we would haved mounted the cooling fans on the inner side of the radiator, with the fans facing inward. In this case however, we installed the SWAFAN on the outter side of the radiator which is then mounted on the chassis. As you’ll notice, the fans are facing outward with all 3 fans showing off its RGB in full uninterupted view.

Basically, the SWAFAN cooling fans are sucking the air (from within the system) and pushing it outwards.

Too expensive for a fan and they use proprietary connectors so they can be a pain if you want to use them as a case fan.

That’s true … they are expensive, but they do look good though 😍
