Thermaltake TH360 V2 Ultra EX ARGB Sync AIO Liquid Cooler – Snow Edition Review

Conclusion and Verdict

Last year, we reviewed the Thermaltake TH360 V2 Ultra ARGB Sync AIO Liquid Cooler, which we thought was a very good AIO cooler. This was Thermaltake’s previous model with standard CT120 ARGB cooling fans in a daisy-chain setup.

This time round, Thermaltake have upgraded the same AIO cooler with 3 x CT120 EX ARGB Sync White Fans featuring a magnetic connection. These fans offer easy connection and installation, and don’t require any type of controller. Just connect the fans magnetically and plug the 3-pin ARGB cable as well as the 4-pin PWM cables straight in to the motherboard, and away you go!

During our tests, we used an Intel Core i9-13900K processor which has a realy high TDP of 125W (with a Turbo Boost of 253W+). Idle temperatures was hovering around 38 degrees Celsius. However, at 100% full load the temperatures reached a high of between 99 degrees Celsius. It doesn’t look appealing, but surprisingly our system was very stable and didn’t crash at all. It looks like the CT120 EX ARGB Sync fans seems to be doing an adequate job of cooling the AIO. If these fans could go up to 3,000 rpm (default max is 2,000 rpm) with a higher airflow of more than it’s current 68 CFM … then I think this could help reduce the full load temperatures.

The gorgeous 2.1-inch TFT LCD display offers stunning aesthetics, and you can upload animated GIFs, videos or photos for that extra personalization. Using the downloadable TT RGB Plus 2.0 software, you can also monitor CPU and memory frequency, temperatures, memory speed, as well as CPU/GPU/Memory load.

And if your love RGB, then you’re in for a treat. The included 3 x CT120 EX ARGB Sync fans offers bright and vivid colours, plus you can control the lighting effects via the TT RGB software with ease (or use your motherboard’s own RGB software).

Final thoughts:

If you need a decent AIO for your next-gen CPUs, then the Thermaltake TH360 V2 Ultra EX ARGB Sync AIO Cooler with its 3 x CT120 EX ARGB magnetc sync fans is must have. It offers extremely easy installation, while offering great aesthetics and adequate cooling performance.
