Conclusion and Verdict
These fans on initial impressions are heavy duty. The fans out of the box are heavy. They have a great heft to them and give you the sense of a extremely durable fan. These blades are not going to flex. The high tensile strength and low thermal expansion coefficient materials, and a special liquid crystal polymer (LCP), make the blades as rigid as they get. I would not want to get a finger caught in one of these. The will not be as forgiving as some of those plastic blades. As you can see from the pics the 9 blade setup looks tight and this is where we are getting the great high static pressure rating. The fans are designed to not waste any air. I placed several dense objects in front of the air flow and rarely noticed any air coming back through the fan. Like I stated in the intro. High static fans are a necessity for any cooling radiator. With these fans you get the max potential out of your cooling system for sure!
Now for the performance aspect. It has been a while since I tested a fan without RGB. Even though these fans don’t feature any of that RGB delight. These fans look and feel like high quality. The center hub screams business and the rigid blades have a nice texture to them. The bearing noise is non existent. I have had fans spin up and actually whine. There is no whine from these fans. The fans start and stop extremely smooth. Even when you unplug them and plug them back in. The fan has an extremely smooth operation thanks to the The 2nd generation hydraulic bearing. Another plus to quite operation is the corner mounted rubber pads. You wont notice any vibrating noises.
Lastly, This fan is built to perform the best on a radiator. The P/Q curve shows a decent curve over other fans.
