XSPC RayStorm Pro CPU Waterblock Review

Today, I want to share with you my thoughts, feelings and experience of installing the XSPC RayStorm Pro CPU Waterblock on our Project Core Arancio PC build.

If you’re an extreme enthusiast who’s into watercooling, you’ll understand that one of the most important part of the loop is the CPU waterblock. Now most waterblocks on the market can do an effective job of cooling the CPU … but most of them are pretty dull in terms of looks and appearance.

If I was going to spend USD $300-500 worth in watercooling kit …  I would want to seriously show off my system. That includes the radiator, pumpsm, reservoir, and last but not least the CPU waterblock.

When I was shopping around for a CPU waterblock for our Project Core Arancio PC build, I wanted one that offered good looks preferably with LEDs. And believe me … there are not many around. Luckily, I found the XSPC RayStorm Pro at a local reseller.

The XSPC RayStorm Pro (Intel) is made from a solid from pure copper base that’s been CNC machined cut. It comes with a solid aluminium bracket with acrylic inserts and 2 x 3mm LED holes, which allows the LED to shine through. Just what I needed 🙂

Here’s a little blurb taken from their website
