Verdict and Conclusion
Gaming chairs are too often overlooked. It’s not a necessary item when building a PC, and that is true. However, when you use your PC, where do you sit? Is your chair comfortable and positioned correctly? Having a wrong posture while gaming (for several hours) can be damaging to your health and your spine, and this is something you don’t want!
There are a ton of gaming chairs on the market, and we’ve reviewed quite a few, but this is one of the first “premium” gaming chairs we’ve had the chance to review, and I have to say I’m pretty impressed with the Cougar Armor S Royal.
The build quality is excellent. The frame of the chair is made from high quality solid steel, and uses breathable premium PVC leather that feels good to the touch, and allows air to pass through, to give you that fresh and comfortable feeling.
To give it that premium look, it comes with golden stitching in the main areas of the chair, and a premium suede-like texture in both pillows, and the frontal/upper side of the chair’s angled flanks. For extra for comfort, you also get two comfortable pillows for your head and lumbar region, which is a nice added bonus.
Other features of the chair include, a high-quality piston lift, adjustable 4D arm-rests, a recline angle of between 90 to 180 degrees, and supports a max weight load of up to 120kg (264.55 lb). The oversize wheels are large and robust, giving you easy mobility and extra stability. Excellent!
