On its own, the DeFiant EG MMS mechanical keyboard is pretty straight forward. Its not the best looking gaming keyboard out there, and out of the box there’s nothing to much shout about. Install the software and aside from the usual features such as macro programming, ramping up the USB response rate started to really lion roaring.
Get the DeFiant with the EpicGear mechanical switch package, and the benefits of the DeFiant truly opens up. Having the ability to change how each of the keys feel meant so much more control and so much more intertwining between a key press and how it responds in a game. The only downside I can see here is just how much punishment the DeFiant keyboard can take with interchanging keys.
Priced at around USD$90, the DeFiant EG MMS mechanical keyboard is very cheap. Take into consideration that this will only be the beginning price of what you will end up using as this keyboard, you will inevitably purchase addition modules to match it to your personal needs.
