Conclusion and Verdict
I couldn’t find any similar device to the MobileLite Pro so it’s hard to compare it to anything. It’s for sure unique device which has much to offer. In a small package we have mobile power bank, card reader, integrated 64GB storage and all works using WiFi connection.
Configuration with mobile devices is simple using available for free Kingston application. It’s however designed for iOS and Android devices only so I couldn’t check it with my Windows phone. Presented tests were performed on a desktop PC with Windows 10 where it works without issues but less advanced users may have some problems with configuration. It’s not hard to configure MobileLite Pro but it’s working only as mapped network drive while internal storage could be visible as simple USB drive ( that I was expecting ).
At the end MobileLite Pro is a really handy device which you can carry everywhere where you need additional storage or simply you know that your mobile device battery is not enough.
Pros:
- unique design
- really handy
- saves space
- adds storage capacity
- supports SD/micro SD cards
- included micro SD to SD adapter
- works as declared ( for ~12 hours )
Cons:
- support limited to iOS or Android
- connecting to PC is complicated for the average user
- performance could be higher on a PC connection
Final words:
