Thanks to Dell and our very own Funky Kit team, we’ll be taking a quick look at the Dell Latitude 7390 ultrabook. This laptop is powered by Intel’s latest 8th Gen mobile processor, the Core i7-8650U a quad core/8 thread CPU running at 1.9GHz, and comes with 16GB DDR4-2400 ram, as well as 256GB NVMe SSD storage.
It features a full HD 13.3″ screen with a resolution of 1920×1080 powered by Intel’s HD 620 onboard graphics. It also have a ton of connectivity options including 2 x USB 3.1 ports, Gigbit ethernet LAN port, SIM card slot, micro SD card slot, full-size HDMI 1.4 port, and a Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) port.
The Latitude 7390 is extremely light-weight and compact business laptop, measuring 304.8mm(L) x 16.33mm (H) x 207.9mm(W) and only 1.19 kg (2.63 lbs) in weight.
Battery life of the 7390, according to Dell can last up to a lengthy 19 hrs … and that figure is up for your own interpretation.
From what I can see, the Latitude 7390 is rather special in terms of specs … especially for a business laptop. I’m really interested to see how it will perform and to see whether it can handle some general content creation like video editing.
