The XPS 13 2-in-1 features a premium 360-degree hinge for four, flexible positions – tablet, tent, laptop and stand mode – so you can watch, work or surf the way you want.
The whole chassis is made from quality CNC machined aluminum, with carbon fiber composite palm rest and soft touch paint. Not to mention the The large 13.3” FHD (1920 x 1080) InfinityEdge touch display, which is made from premium Corning Gorilla Glass.
Everything about the XPS 13 2-in-1 speaks quality… and so it should 🙂
A Closer Look
As far connectivity goes, the XPS 13 2-in-1 comes with just 2 x USB-C ports, 1 x USB 3.0 port, headphone jack and micro SD card slot.
Incidentally, the USB-C port doubles as a power port for charging the laptop, and what’s more it supports Thunderbolt-3 devices too!
2-in-1 Feature
The XPS 13 2-in-1 is fairly compact and light-weight, which is definitely a plus when youre using it as a tablet. When it’s in tablet mode, the keyboard becomes redundant, so you don’t have to worry about accidental key presses.
The dimensions of the XPS 13 2-in-1 is as follows. Height: 8 -13.7 mm (0.32-0.54 inch) x Width: 304 mm (11.98 inch) x Depth: 199mm (7.8 inch) and weighs only 1.24 kg (2.7 pounds).
System Information
Notice the extra CPUs (4 in total) on the system properties windows. The Intel Core i7-7Y75 (7th Gen CPU – Kaby Lake) is a low voltage dual core mobile processor with 4 threads. It’s designed for notebooks, laptops and tablets, so don’t be surprised to find out it only a dual core.

Battery Life
Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 features a 4-cell 46W li-ion battery, which should give you around (cough*) 8-10 hours of heavy usage according Dell. Realistically speaking, I’d say 4-6 hours … there is an Intel Core i7 inside!
