LIAN LI LANCOOL ONE Digital PC Chassis Review

Product Photos – Interior

The LANCOOL ONE isn’t really big but the interior has enough space to install E-ATX motherboard, water cooling, and multiple, long graphics cards.

The case is equipped with two 1000 RPM fans which are quiet. I guess that part of the users will keep them as they work well. Enthusiasts will probably replace them to some special series or models with RRB LEDs.

LANCOOL ONE for sure has a lot of space for modern storage. Most users are not using HDD anymore but if we wish, then we can install up to two 3.5″ drives in the bay near PSU. Would be even better if we could also install 2.5″ drives in the bay but for that, we will have to buy 3.5″->2.5″ adaptors. It doesn’t change the fact that out of the box we can install four 2.5″ drives so any SSD or HDD in this format. It’s more than enough for most users, especially that most gaming motherboards support at least two M.2 SSD. If we add everything then we can use up to at least 8 SSD.

Worse is that 3.5″ bay has to be removed if we decide to use larger PSU. For our test rig, we’ve used quite old but still great PC Power & Cooling 1200W PSU which was hard to install with all the required cables because of its length. Most lower wattage PSU should fit without issues. I mean units up to about 850W what is more than enough for a really strong configuration.

The case supports standard ATX PSU so there shouldn’t be any issue to find a perfect PSU for the PC.

Interesting is the way we can install drives on a PSU cover/shroud. You can see on the next page that we’ve used HyperX Fury RGB SSD in one of the mounting spots. It’s one of the not many PC cases where we can show SSD with RGB lighting. Most designs are hiding drives on the back of the case. All required cables go through holes just behind the drives so we can’t really see them.

After removing the front panel we can see a dust filter. The next one is under the PSU. Even if we install a radiator in front then we can use the filter as it’s mounted with magnetic stripes.

Below are a couple of photos of a ready PC without lighting. Everything looks clean and tidy. It wasn’t a big problem to install an AIO cooler with 360mm radiator. All the cables can be hidden without issues even though we’ve used white extension power cables. We had to remove mentioned earlier 3.5″ storage bay but I doubt that most users will even use it in a modern PC.

Now let’s move to the next page to see our PC with lighting as it’s one of the key features of the LANCOOL ONE.
