Conclusion and Verdict
The last time I used an Intel-based system was roughly 6 months ago, and ever since then, all I’ve been using is AMD, partly due to the hype. I now realize why people still choose Intel-based systems over AMD … and I’m not just talking about gaming or content creation. I’m talking about the memory read/write speeds that an Intel-based system can offer!
During our memory tests on AIDA64, I’m getting some truly phenomenal results. Memory copy speed was at 46,225 MB/s, while read and write speeds was at 50,633 MB/s and 51,216 MB/s respectively. It’s one of the best results I’ve seen for a pair of DDR4-3600 memory.
To get optimal performance and hassle-free configuration, just make sure you enable XMP profiles in the BIOS of your motherboard, and also check their QVL for memory compatibility.
When it comes to aesthetics, I love the blade-shaped silver lighting bar on top, as well as the distinctive aluminum heatsink, which is made from refined black steel and finished by using CNC machining process. This unique and distinctive design has won Antec the 2019 iF DESIGN AWARD. Additionally, I also like the fact that it supports a vast array of ARGB functions via motherboard synchronization, including Asus AURA sync, MSI Mystic Light, ASRock Polychrome Sync and many others.
During the rest of our test, the Antec Katana 7-Series DDR4-3600 produced excellent scores in all of our benchmarks. You can check out the results in our previous page.
