Specification
The Blitz 1.1 series includes dual and quad channel kits based on 4GB memory sticks between DDR3-1600 and DDR3-3200 speed. Dual or quad channel kits based on 8GB sticks are available in speeds between DDR3-1600 and DDR3-2800. Higher density, 8GB modules are harder to stabilize which explains the lower maximum clock. On the other hand DDR3-2800 is already a high frequency, especially if anyone wishes to use it for a quad channel platform.
The AVEXIR memory comes in a classy looking box which contains up to four memory sticks. As you can see in the attached photo, we have received two boxes and seven memory sticks total.
Outside of this great looking package we find the AVEXIR motto (which we mentioned earlier). On the bottom of the package there is the product specification and additional manufacturer information such as support contacts and more.
AVEXIR is providing a lifetime warranty for their memory.
Closer Look
As I have already mentioned, we have received seven different memory sticks to represent the full line-up of the Blitz 1.1 memory series. Each memory is designed to match the more popular motherboard color schemes; take for example the ASUS ROG, MSI MPower, ASRock OC Formula, Gigabyte OC and ECS Leet memory color schemes. There is also the MSI Dragon memory that matches the MSI Gaming motherboards but we have not received that particular memory stick. Regardless, I have also attached a photograph of this memory.
AVEXIR Blitz 1.1 – Original
AVEXIR Blitz 1.1 – MSI MPower
AVEXIR Blitz 1.1 – ASRock OC Formula
AVEXIR Blitz 1.1 – Gigabyte OC – Orange
AVEXIR Blitz 1.1 – Gigabyte G1 Green
AVEXIR Blitz 1.1 – ECS Leet Gaming Red
AVEXIR Blitz 1.1 – ECS Leet Gaming Gold
In the photos below we can see how the AVEXIR Blitz 1.1 looks on each motherboard.
The pictures speak for themselves; this memory looks simply amazing! What is even more fantastic is that we can pick any desired memory density or any clock speed up to 3200MHz with any heatsink design!
If we wish to further customize something even more special, then AVEXIR also provides that service and we can order our own, customized memory. More info under the link: http://www.avexir.com/customize/customize.html
Now we know that the Blitz 1.1 looks great but what about the performance? Let us move to the next page and take a look at the performance tests and overclocking results.
