XMP and Overclocking
When we selected XMP Profiles in the BIOS, it effectively go into overclocking mode. The CPU will reduce its multiplier settings and increase the BCLK rate from the default of 133 to 213Mhz. Unfortunately due to CPU limitation, we were not able to run the system at full XMP mode with a BCLK rate of 213Mhz. Instead, we ran the Crucial Ballistix DDR3-2133 4Gb kits at 915Mhz with a BCLK rate of 183Mhz, that’s equivalent to DDR3-1830.
