Here are the results from the AIDA64 memory test att the default speed of DDR4-3000 with XMP profiles 2.0 enabled. I was surprised to see that the Adata XPG Dazzle DDR4-2400 beat the Crucial Ballistix Elite 16GB DDR4-3000 CL16 Memory Kit.

Cinebench R15

For the Cinebench R15 – CPU tests (which relies of memory speed also)… the Crucial Ballistix Elite 16GB DDR4-3000 CL16 Memory Kit produced a respectable score of 1026, which was expected.

PCMark8

However, the PCMark 8 scores tells a different story. With a score 3,768, it was at the bottom of the list. A little disappointing. I was hoping a little higher.

HyperPi 32M

HyperPi 32M tests also saw the Crucial Ballistix Elite 16GB DDR4-3000 CL16 Memory Kit at the bottom of the list.

PassMark 8 Memory Performance Test

The PassMark 8 – Memory test was no different. Not sure why DDR4-3000 with XMP profiles 2.0 enabled produced such low scores. All settings were at default and double checked.

3DMark – Time Spy (default settings)

I’m starting wonder what has Crucial done to these modules. At DDR4-3000 with XMP 2.0 profiles enables, we should be seeing much higher scores.
