The white version of the Pro OC memory kit has the same specifications as the black one reviewed a while ago. It’s also rated at DDR5-6000 and uses both EXPO and XMP profiles at CL36-38-38 1.35V. The regular SPD profile has 1.10V.
Since the last review, an option of 2x24GB has been added, so we can pick either 32GB or 48GB capacity for a black or white kit. 48GB is more often used at home due to all the applications that run in the background and memory-hungry web browsers, which often have saved multiple tabs. If we add to that modern AAA games, then we may end with over 32GB in use. However, for most users, 32GB will be plenty.
Even though Crucial Pro OC is designed to work on AMD and Intel motherboards, its compatibility with AMD highly depends on the used BIOS. Sadly, some manufacturers still have worse BIOS support for AMD motherboards. A perfect example can be the Gigabyte B650E Master, which, until the recent F23 BIOS, had problems with the 6000MT/s profile. The same as in our last Crucial Pro OC review, on the same motherboard, four modules start at DDR5-3600 or DDR5-4000 (random after training) and boot up to DDR5-5200. We had no four-slot Intel motherboard free for the time of tests to try two Crucial Pro OC kits at once.
The Crucial Pro OC in both color versions is sold as a 2-module kit, and this way, we will present its performance. We will focus on the Intel platform and ASUS APEX Z790, which is among the best for DDR5 overclocking and supports the highest frequency modules.

All our motherboards with the recent BIOS had no problems with stability or compatibility, and the same was true for Intel and AMD.
We wish to see tighter timings or frequency, but the programmed profiles are not slow.
