The KLEVV DDR5-6800 memory kit has XMP and EXPO profiles at DDR5-6800 and primary timings of 34-40-40-80. The profile’s programmed voltage is 1.35V VDD/VDDQ, which is relatively low for this type of memory, considering tight primary timings.
The memory kit uses Hynix A-die IC, the best overclocking IC on the market. Under heatsinks, we will also find Richtek PMIC, which is the most popular and fully supported by all leading motherboard brands. The short conclusion, and a little spoiler, is that the BOLT V is well-designed, and we should expect great overclocking results.
Above is a screenshot from the AIDA64 System Stability Test. As you can see, stability is fine. The memory kit passed multiple other tests, so there was no need to keep the stability test for much longer.
The tested memory kit has no problems with stability or XMP compatibility on the ASUS Z790 APEX and Gigabyte B650E Master motherboards. On AMD, we have to remember that optimal performance is achieved through the synchronized memory controller and memory frequency, so RAM up to 6400MT/s. The BOLT V is also available at 6000MT/s and 6400MT/s, so I recommend one of those two. An alternative with even better results can be jumping onto 7600-8000MT/s, but then we need a more expensive CRAS V RGB series.
So far, so good. Now, let’s take a look at the product itself.
