Specifications, Features and Test Setup
Below we can see how our testing motherboard sees ARES memory.
There are two XMP profiles probably because of compatibility with different platforms as both are nearly the same. There are no issues on our ASUS motherboard with these profiles and performance is nearly the same so we will be using the first profile in our test stage.

CPU-Z
CPU-Z clearly has some problems reading XMP profiles as you see below.
Test Setup
Test setup is similar to what we could see in last FunkyKit memory reviews so also here I used overclocked i7 3770K processor to better show differences in memory bandwidth at higher frequencies.
As you also see in above table there are DDR3-2400 and DDR3-2666 kits added to comparison. In performance part of this review I will add results on overclocked G.Skill ARES DDR3-2133 kit so we will see how this memory stands against more expensive kits.
