Conclusion and Verdict
G.Skill Sniper X DDR4-3600 is interesting memory kit which is targeting gamers and computer enthusiasts. We can pick one of the three designs which fit some of the popular gaming motherboard series. There are no LEDs but there is a group of users who don’t like LEDs and many others simply don’t need them.
The only thing that could be improved are main timings as CL19 doesn’t look really good and it can be the only reason why some users will skip this memory series. We can see that DDR4-3333 CL16-18-18 is offering similar if not better performance in some of the tests. On the other hand, Sniper X memory kits at both settings cost almost the same.
In all our tests were no issues with stability and also this memory is compatible with various platforms. Quick tests on AMD Ryzen confirmed it can also run at DDR4-3600 on the ASRock X370 ITX motherboard what is a great result.
16GB kit of Sniper X memory at DDR4-3600 cost about $230 what is quite low compared to other DDR4-3600 memory kits. https://amzn.to/2GOst64
