Below we see how our testing board sees the SPD profile.
… and XMP profile which is programmed in version 1.3:
I noticed that memory has two XMP profiles but only one is available on the MSI MPower . Main difference between these two profiles is command rate which for our board is faster, set to 1N.
To be sure that XMP is correct I also checked it on an ASUS Maximus V Gene motherboard, which can use both profiles without problems. Both these motherboards are on G.Skill TridentX 2400 CL9 approved list and even though MSI is using only one profile the second one isn’t really needed so it’s not any problem in this case.
I also added one more screenshot which is showing these two XMP profiles but for some reason CPU-Z has problems to read them right in both, 32 and 64 bit versions.
