BIOS Settings
Using the BIOS on the Gigabyte Z270X Ultra Gaming motherboard, we enable XMP profiles. All other settings were untouched on AUTO. By selecting this, the modules will run at the rated speed of DDR4-2400 (2400Mhz – 2 x 1200Mhz). Memory timings will be AUTO at 15-15-15-35 @ 1.2v.
Test Bench
For our tests, we used our MakeMeCooler Doraemon PC build which consist of a Gigabyte Z270X Ultra Gaming motherboard,Along with and Intel Core i5 – 7600K (Kaby Lake) and a Zotac GeForce GTX 1070 AMP Extreme Edition.

Aida64 Memory Information
These GEIL EVO Potenza DDR4-2400 modules are equipped with the Potenza heat-spreader, designed with GeIL’s MTCD – Maximum Thermal Conduction & Dissipation technology for superior cooling efficiency. They run at the specified speed of DDR4-2400 (1200MHz) at 1.2v.
Aida64 DRAM Timings
Memory timings are running as advertised at 15-15-15-35 with XMP profiles. We selected XMP in the BIOS and left the CPU speed untouched at 3.8GHz
