The general specification tells us that the memory has two XMP profiles. Not many manufacturers nowadays are programing more than one profile, but it may help those users who have older motherboards or platforms that can’t work with memory at a higher frequency. Since the latest AMD processors have a memory controller optimized for DDR4-3200, then we will focus on this XMP profile.
Thaiphoon Burner software is showing that used memory IC is Hynix J-die. These chips are from new series and are balanced to work at not the highest frequency but tighter timings. We will check how our memory kit is overclocking a bit later.
The XMP works without issues on various motherboards. We were testing it on the X570 chipset and brands like ASRock, ASUS, and Gigabyte. No problems with any of them.
