Package and its Contents
The FURY memory series has a similar package to the previous memory series. Excluding the Predator, all other gaming memory series under the HyperX logo are being protected by a typical for memory, flat, plastic, and transparent box. The difference between memory kits makes a round RGB logo and data on the label.
Inside the package are a well-known HyperX logo sticker, a short warranty, and an installation guide. I guess that most users know how to install a memory kit, but it’s still good when a manufacturer is adding a user’s manual. I think some countries even require that electronic products have a user’s manual. Anyway, let’s focus on the memory modules.
The memory kit contains two 8GB memory modules that have an exceptional design. The same as in all HyperX memory kits, also the FURY has a black PCB. Even though this memory is lower series than the Predator, then both have the same top quality.
The already well-known FURY heatsinks were replaced with also asymmetric heatsinks, with semi-transparent tops that let to go through all the light effects.
The memory offers all widespread RGB effects and has one thing that competition doesn’t have – infrared synchronization. It helps to keep the same effects on both memory modules at the same time without noticeable delays.
The memory looks great with or without RGB lighting. It’s also not much taller than standard memory modules, so it shouldn’t interfere with large CPU cooling solutions.
Below are screenshots from NGENUITY software, which is provided by HyperX and works with all RGB devices. The software recognizes connected devices, so in our case, it shows us the FURY memory and the preview of various lighting effects.
