Package and its Contents
Below you can see the package of the Fury Renegade DDR4-4600 memory kit. We will use two of these kits in tests as many users wish to have more RGB illumination or slightly improved performance using all memory banks that should match dual-rank memory kit performance. Either way, two memory kits seem a better setup but also have their limitations. I will tell you about that in the next pages of this review.
The package is a typical size for a gaming memory kit. It’s a flat box which protects well the product inside and also delivers all the required info.
Inside the package, we will find two 8GB memory modules, a short user’s manual, and a sticker with the Kingston Fury logo.
The installation is simple, and most uses won’t have any problems with that. Those who aren’t sure how to install the memory should check the user’s manual so they won’t damage anything.
The main difference between a standard Fury Renegade and its RGB version is a semi-transparent top bar. Everything else is the same, so the same aggressive design and black/dark gray color scheme. I still hope to see a white version, or white/gray, or maybe white/red. With the DDR5 premiere in the upcoming months, we can count on something fresh and also aggressive.
