Conclusion and Verdict
The FURY Renegade is another well-designed memory series from Kingston. Now it’s also widely available at 7200MT/s, and its price is about as high as the price of a 6200MT/s memory kit about eight months ago.
The fastest frequencies are usually dedicated to the most demanding users, but this time everyone can enjoy the top-speed Kingston memory as it’s compatible with most Z790 motherboards and additionally overclocks exceptionally well.
There were no compatibility issues during our tests. However, I recommend higher-series motherboards with better BIOS support to be sure there won’t be any problems.
The unique design and RGB illumination with infrared synchronization are strong points after using this RAM in custom, modded computers. Kingston RAM has full support from all counting motherboard manufacturers, so no matter which motherboard brand you use, it should be compatible.
The FURY Renegade 7200MT/s kit is another Kingston memory that gives us high overclocking potential. We could reach 8266MT/s, and I feel it’s not the last word from the tested memory kit. However, the top overclocking motherboard will be required for any higher frequencies. Most available motherboards let to set anything between 7200-7800MT/s. Only a few give us a higher range.
A lifetime warranty and free support cover all Kingston memory kits. A low RMA rate also proves the high quality of Kingston products.
