Package
Kingston HyperX 10th Anniversary memory came to us in a plastic box. It’s standard retail package for more than two memory sticks.
Inside we can find as usual warranty information and short installation manual. Of course there are also memory sticks, in this case we have four. On the box we can also see that this kit has been designed for quad channel operation so we can be sure that it’s compatible with all desktop platforms available on the market.
Specification
As usuall we are starting from the SPD/XMP profiles. This how our testing motherboard sees memory.
Maximus V Gene BIOS/UEFI is showing us that the memory has two XMP profiles. First is DDR3-2400 CL11-13-13 and second is 2133 11-12-12. Both are declared to work at the voltage of 1.65V.
Second XMP profile is also good option for all who wish to use this memory on older platforms which don’t support higher memory clocks.
Below is a screenshot from ASUS Mem TweakIt which is showing us detailed timings for XMP#1. As we see secondary timings are quite tight for DDR3-2400 memory. It’s what we usually achieve after some tweaking.
Here we have also AIDA64 XMP profile info. As we see thereare plenty of different settings that should probably work. It gives us compatibility with nearly all DDR3 platforms for both Intel and AMD.
Moving further let’s take a look at the HyperX 10th Anniversary memory kit, with photos!
