Below you can see memory profiles. HyperX FURY has one XMP profile which is about the same as SPD profile. What does it mean for users ? Regardless which profile you use or simply set auto settings, HyperX FURY will run at declared speed – in this case it’s DDR4-2400 CL15.
Above is AIDA64 memory timings window while below we can see CPU-Z SPD window which is also showing available profiles.
The same as in HyperX Predator, also in FURY series we can expect to find Hynix SK memory chips from MFR series. 8GB modules will be of course double-sided also called dual rank.
Below is a photo which is showing sticker on the memory and most important info which is including product, serial numbers and required voltage.
Package and Closer Look
HyperX FURY comes in a plastic box with large “FACTORY SEALED” sticker which tells us that after quality check, we are the first users of this memory.
On the package are also other stickers on which we can find info about general specification, serial numbers or compatible platforms. In this case we don’t have big choice as the only desktop platofrm for which this memory was designed is Intel Haswell-E and motherboards based on X99 chipset.
Inside the package we can find short user’s manual and warranty info. There is also small HyperX sticker which we can find in probably all new Kingston HyperX memory kits.
Memory itself looks great and since heatsinks are black then should fit into most computer color schemes. Heatsinks are asymmetric what gives HyperX FURY unique looks.
On the front of the heatsinks you can see FURY and HyperX signs while on the back there is small sticker with similar info which you can find on the package so serial and product numbers, required voltage and some more.
Since we took a closer look at our memory kit then maybe let’s move to the next page as I think all wish to see how HyperX FURY is performing.
