Main Features
Stability at Rated Speed
As you can see above, our review memory kit is perfectly stable at rated DDR4-3333. However we had some issues on older BIOS/UEFI releases so be sure that your motherboard has the latest BIOS/UEFI to avoid any compatibility issues.
HyperX Predator is based on new Hynix memory IC which can have slightly different SPD/XMP profiles and timing tables so motherboard manufacturers have to update firmware for full compatibility.
Package and Closer Look
Refreshed HyperX Predator memory has also new package. It’s a nice looking box. Design is generally fresh and unique. There is no other brand on the market which has similar memory kits.
On the box there are several descriptions, product numbers and additional logos. The most important for us is what we can find in the package and that manufacturer is offering lifetime warranty on this product. Actually all Kingston memory kits are covered by lifetime warranty ( in some countries it can be between 5 and 10 years depends from local law ).
Above photos are showing package and its contents. Inside the box you can find ( as expected ) two memory sticks, 8GB each, warranty card with short manual and black sticker with HyperX logo.
Now maybe couple of photos of memory itself.
Memory kit looks great. Mix of dark grey and black gives really unique effect. Enjoy!
On the next page we will check how HyperX Predator DDR4-3333 memory kit is performing.

This is making me want to take out my EVGA memory based on the same 8Gbit Hynix ICs and do some testing, as they are quite neglected.
I don’t know what about your kit but my EVGA kit which was based on older Hynix batch couldn’t pass ~DDR4-3200 stable. Actually this HyperX Predator DDR4-3333 is the only Hynix kit which I was testing that could reach DDR4-3600 without issues. Most others couldn’t run at more than 3200/3333.
