Conclusion and Verdict
As you can see I was able to activate XMP with no problems. It ran perfectly fine on my AMD 3700X. It was able to reach 48000+ MB/s in read speed. Those are blazing fast speeds. If you are wondering about the write speeds, pay no attention to those. That is an outlier with the Memory Controllers on the 3700X. Anyways the most important speeds are the Read. The Redline Ram is right up there with the rest of them in those speeds. I would definitely say these are some of the faster Ram modules I have tested. They may not top the list but you are talking a 3% difference from the fastest I have ever tested. You can easily argue a +-1% margin of error too. So to keep it simple, this RAM will provide you with enough head room to compete with the fastest out there. Now there is always the option to tighten the timings a little more but that can vary from module to module so I don’t really publish those results because your mileage will vary depending on your particular setup. I like to stick with what is guaranteed and that is the 4000MHZ and CL18, that Mushkin has setup on the XMP profile. If they say it works at those speeds I have every bit of confidence in Mushkin that if they claim it, then it will hold true.
If you are curious if a particular speed will be absolutely compatible with your setup, just contact them and their support will lead you in the right direction. They also have a 4133MHz/CL19 kit available too. For the Redline black model line you have options ranging from 2666MHZ/CL16 to the 4133MHz/CL19.
