Today, we’ll be taking a look at the Patriot Viper Gaming Venom RGB DDR5-7200 32GB Memory Kit. These memory kits are rated to run at DDR5-7200 speeds with memory timings of 34-42-42, operating on a voltage of 1.45V
These modules uses memory ICs from SK Hynix which are known to overclock extremely well. They also come with On-Die ECC, Thermal sensor, and they’re fully XMP 3.0 certified for easy setup and configuration via the BIOS on your motherboard.
They’re compatible with all the major RGB eco-systems out there including Asus Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light Sync, Gigabyte RGB Fusion and ASRock’s Polychrome Sync. Alternatively, you can use the Viper RGB Software, which you can download from their website.
And lastly, the memory kits comes with a nice aluminum heat spreader, which helps to cool the memory modules during full load.
One thing you’ll notice when running DDR5 ram, is that the system will show Quad Channel mode. For those who don’t know … DDR5 gives you two 32-bit wide (40-bit wide, with ECC) channels per stick, which means that you get a quad-channel configuration when running two DIMMs.
