Today, we’ll be taking a look at the Patriot Viper Xtreme 5 DDR5-7600 32GB Memory Kit. When I first heard about Patriot’s new line of memory kits the “Xtreme 5“, I was really excited. Why? Well, they’re the first retail memory kits that can run at 8000 MHz using XMP 3.0 profiles, that’s without manual overclocking (and provided that your motherboard can support it).
These memory kits are rated to run at DDR5-7600 speeds with memory timings of 36-48-48, operating on a voltage of 1.45V. They come with On-die ECC, ensuring data integrity, data accuracy and system reliability.
Each memory module uses SK Hynix ICs which are known to overclock extremely well. They also come with an integrated high-quality PMIC, which offers lower power consumption and creates more room for overclocking without exceeding safe voltages and temperature limits.
For cooling, the Xtreme 5 memory kits features high-quality Viper-head style heatshields made from aluminum materials, giving you better cooling performance and great aesthetics for your PC build.
They’re compatible with all the major RGB eco-systems out there including Asus Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light Sync, Gigabyte RGB Fusion and ASRock’s Polychrome Sync. Alternatively, you can use the Viper RGB Software, which you can download from their website.
