Conclusion and Verdict
Silicon Power 32GB DDR4-3200 SODIMM memory doesn’t look much different than standard laptop memory, but it’s fast and fully compatible with modern devices. This is exactly what all users want, so it’s hard not to like this product.
Silicon Power sells its SODIMM as single modules, so we have to buy two of them for a dual-channel kit, but as long as we pick the same product numbers, all should be fine. Since memory has only an SPD profile programmed at the rated DDR4-3200 CL22 settings, we don’t have to set anything. It’s a real “plug and play” memory.
There were no problems with performance or stability during our tests. We could even lower timings to CL18-18-18, keeping full stability that could be used to release the gaming SODIMM series. Even though many brands sell SODIMM, not many have in their offer DDR4-3200 modules for laptops, not to mention memory at tighter timings.
Silicon Power DDR4 3200MHz SODIMM are available as single modules, but the same product number should be based on the same memory chips. Amazon has them in their offer for around $58.00, so close to $116 for a 32GB kit. It’s a pretty good price for such a good laptop upgrade.

Silicon Power SODIMM memory is one of those products which look quite standard, but performs great and delivers everything end-users expect. It doesn’t require any configuration, and the installation is simple. Additionally, it’s inexpensive what is often the key to a successful product.
